Feng shui tips please?

Any and as many feng shui tips as you can think of to have a peaceful, happy, successful life. Tips for my bedroom? Thank you so much :)
The base of the bed should be on wheels, never touching the floor since this will prevent air from circulating and cause dampness in the bed and result in backaches. Do not store articles under the bed since this will also bring about ill-health. Never set the head of the bed towards the west unless you are advised to do so in your horoscope. This is logical in the East since the Western side of the house is the hottest. Never set head of bed behind door, only foot of bed can be seen or you will have restless nights, bed should never be opposite door or it will drain energy, bed too close to window will cause restlessness. Bed should never be under open beam, it will provoke headaches and loss of creative energy, if your bedroom is small and you cannot follow these rules then use the Chinese methods of yin and yang. There are so many rules I could go on and on.

Just wondering.

color, scent, space, any tips will do

fengshui is not about color, not about scent, space - depends; it is not a decorating style.

fengshui is about a group of methods which are formulated for people to use nature to make life easier. but there is a catch, people cannot create good luck with the use of things, but we need to use these methods to adapt to nature.

first, you need to understand that there is NO book NOR website that offers to teach the both basic and advanced uses of these fengshui methods.

next to start, you need to understand that in fengshui, a house or a building (as in the case of a condominium) is always considered as 1 unit, thus, the most important part is the main front door of this unit - even if you just live in 1 bedroom in that house, or 1 condo unit in the whole building. the importance of this main front door is in its tilt, facing degree - the degree that is perpendicular to the outside (of the house) to where your main door faces. this must be measured accurately to half a degree. then you need to cross reference this degree with other configurations like void lines (which can cause a life of crime/ miserable/ dead end life), peach blossom (bad for home, but good for business; this can lead to many affairs, thus it is good for business - which can mean many clients in a business), etc. then if the degree is not ideal to you, then you might want to renovate your front door.

next is plotting the flying star chart for your house. here, the chart will tell you what spaces in your house has what kind of energy - the kind of energy is not generalized as to good or bad, but it is specific. so you know how to use an area, or how to build your house. people who practice fengshui use this to guide them designing their houses. the trick here is to live in the areas where there is good energy, while leaving the areas with bad energy as storage rooms, toilets, garage, etc. - rooms less used.

in fengshui, life always has an explanation; there is no such thing as cause and effect, because if you think this, then it is an endless debate. in fengshui, the cause is the energy in the house and your life/ energy. the effect is your life, what you are experiencing. so to change your life, you need to change the energy in the house. and the only way to do that is to know how fengshui works.

flying stars is not the only method out there. there are many. but what you learn in books are mostly what fengshui masters do not teach you in their seminars, because they just do not work.

if you are interested to learn the fengshui methods through books, get books by joey yap, peter leung, yap cheng hai, eva wong. i have taken some courses from yap cheng hai/ joey yap before. their courses are have more than their books.

i want adventure, travel, romance, and excitment in my life. what are some changes i can make in my bedroom to get me what i want using feng shui? thank you so very much!

Check out the articles below, one article is on How to Feng Shui your Bedroom, and the other is How to feng shui for Love.

I’ll just copy paste something I recently discovered while reading about Chinese astrology:
"There is a famous Chinese saying, ‘conducting construction works on the head of Taisui’, which is used to describe the extreme folly of offending the powerful. Though the idiom is popular, few Chinese really know who Taisui is. They only know it is the most cruel and horrible god [...] Ancient Chinese fabricated a celestial body, which also revolved the sky once every 12 years. But the direction was opposite to that of the Jupiter. This imaginary celestial body was called Taisui."

Tai Sui seems to be strongly paid attention to in relation to feng shui practices and is regarded as terribly unlucky (makes sense that it is opposite Jupiter, the planet that is regarded in all forms of astrology as benefic). Some people in Chinese culture make prayers to appease this deity if their Chinese astrological sign is in conflict (I think square or opposition) with Tai Sui’s position in the sky. So, I was wondering if this might have any relation to our natal charts as well.

So… where is your ‘Tai Sui’ (that is, the degree directly opposite your Jupiter placement)? Is this an area of difficulty for you? Have you noticed any correlation between this point and your life, through aspects or transits? Any musings in general on this concept?

Thanks for your insights.

Interesting. I saw this question a couple of days ago, and decided to let it marinate, and see what comes up.

Mine is in Libra, in the 7th house, intercepted.

I don’t have any planets in the 7th house, but I have S.N., Vertex and POF…plus now I guess Tai Sui, lol, so my relationships are very important to my life. POF in Libra, S.N. and Vertex in Virgo.

I actually feel as though I receive a lot of leeway from people who may oppose me, open enemies, ect. Libra is intercepted in the 7th house, Venus is in the 12th house. I don’t encounter much drama, and I can’t say Tai Sui’s position shows me a point of difficulty. The point of Tai Sui is actually conjunct my Part of Fortune.

Maybe, if it has relevance, it can go the other way. Perhaps Tai Sui can be internalized instead of experienced. It works like that with everything else, and if that were the case, I would say I see relevance, however in a positive manner, but with the little information available, I of course couldn’t state anything strongly at all. It’s hard to separate that from the other points in my 7th house.

In the bedroom do not place the foot of the bed in front of the door, living room make a conversation center with furniture to keep active energy in the room, place a mirror on the opposite wall of entry door to keep bad energy from entering, paint outside of door red, good energy, keep it plain and simple with colors that make you feel good, if something doesn’t feel right, change it around until it does. Have fun feng shui.

I’ve been single for a long time and have recently been reading about feng shui. It’s kind of confusing, since I live in a small, one room space, but I wanted to try using it for love purposes. I want a serious relationship.
Bahahahahahahaha! I know! It is a complete scam! haha! :)
Fung shui is a gimmick. There’s nothing factual about it. It’s basically a scam that people use to charge obscene amounts of money to redecorate rooms and houses. And of course to sell books and other products.

Finding love will have a lot more to do with your personality and looks than how you arrange your room.

We enter our home through the garage. Our apartment is upstairs so when you come into our home half of it is in front of you and half {the part over the garage} is behind you. How do I place our home on a feng shui map? We never use our front door because there isn’t an easy way to park in the garage and then go around to our front or back doors.

so the door of your garage becomes th main front door of the house.

there is no such thing as the fengshui map… the bagua method is not a a fengshui method, at least no fengshui master recognize it as such. in my experience, i dont think that it even works - and i know it has been published in many books.

i still like to use classical fengshui methods. the most important thing about fengshui with regards to the front door is where it faces (exact degree facing), and the location of the door in relation to the whole house. why? because the facing direction dictates the energy distribution of the house, and what life are you going to have living in such house. while the location of the door describes what energy you are activating every time you use it.

i am aware that in some countries, you cannot just tilt the main front door. this is another reason why most people dont like to use fengshui. and it is impossible to apply good fengshui to all houses, because of this reason.

so regarding mapping, there is no such thing. the general thing to do is to use a compass and measure the facing degree of you garage door (where you enter the house). and use this to plot out the flying star chart of your house. this chart tells you where you need to live more - where to put the kitchen, bedroom; and where to put the toilet, garage, etc. it is also a good method to use when you can tilt the main door to shift the energy distribution. this is good if the rooms are already built and you can tilt the front door.
