Feng Shui can be used to improve any aspect of your life, including your love life. There are different Feng Shui arrangements that can be used to improve your relationships. Here you will find the basic ways to bring good energy into your love life according to Feng Shui practitioners. Now, if you are like some of my single girlfriends that say, “I am not looking for a relationship right now”, you have to know that Feng Shui helps you relationships in general: with friends, colleagues, partners, etc. So, keep reading.

Attracting Romance to Your Life

If you would like to bring luck into your love life, feng shui gives you a number of “cures” that you can use. The objects that you surround yourself with will make a big difference in your relationships.

The most important Feng Shui tip to improve your love life and your life all around, is to rid your home (especially your bedroom) of clutter. Unnecessary clutter will have a negative impact on your life and so you should start by getting rid of everything that is taking up space. Keep drawers tidy, pick clothing up from the floor and do not just leave things lying everywhere. Remember that a cluttered home leads to a cluttered mind. To be able to accept love into your life you need to have a clear head and be happy in your surroundings. Keep everything as organized as possible to make yourself more receptive. Don’t keep anything under the bed. Allow the energy to flow freely around it.

Your bedroom needs to be a romantic place, so the last images you want to see here are photos of Mom and Dad. Children’s artwork and toys will also undermine your sex life. Celebrate these relationships in other areas of your home and keep the bedroom as your private retreat.

Keep the television out of the bedroom. Nothing kills romance like late night television. If you have trouble falling asleep, try reading love poetry or romantic novels. Your subconscious will shift accordingly, making you a virtual love magnet. The same goes for exercise equipment and computers.

If you are a single woman, or man, make your bedroom look like you are sharing it with someone. This can mean putting a bedside table on the other side of the bed, or even putting an extra tooth brush in the bathroom. Girls, don’t put your collection of stuffed animals on the bed. This is a big turn off and a no no in Feng Shui.

That old pillow from college and those flannel sheets aren’t doing your love life any favors. So splurge on pillows, blankets and sheets that invite you to linger in bed.

Open the windows often to keep the air fresh. You cannot have good Feng Shui in your bedroom if the air is stale and polluted. However, plants in the bedroom are not good Feng Shui, unless your bedroom is fairly large and they are located far from the bed. Aquariums and fountains will also disturb your sleep. And contrary to popular belief, mirrors in the ceiling are the worst thing you can do in Feng Shui!!! No, seriously, no mirrors in the bedroom. They energize the room too much to give you a relaxing sleep.

Try to use objects of colors related to the Relationships Area of your bedroom: white, pinks, reds… You should surround yourself with positive images. If you have pictures, sculptures or paintings of people on their own, they could be having a negative effect on your relationships. Replace them with pictures of happy couples. Always put two flowers, two figurines, two candles, etc. This will make you a little more receptive to love when it comes into your life. Try not to have set ups of single chairs, create cozy seating arrangements for two.

Never use dried flowers in your home, especially in the bedroom. They have a negative impact on your life. Fresh flowers on the other hand, are perfect and they look really good too. Candles are also perfect to brighten up the bedroom. Actually, candle light is the best kind of lighting you can have in there. As this is not always possible, use a dimmer to control the light in the bedroom.

Now see what room falls in the far right corner of your house. This is the Relationships Area of the home. If there’s a bathroom there, always… always keep the toilet lid down. Drains and toilets are escape routes for energy, and in this case, it can flush your love life down the drain.

Feng Shui is designed to help you to draw in good luck in all aspects of your life. With romance, the idea is to entice romance: keep things in pairs, use romantic colors, and be more receptive to love. Do not surround yourself with lone figures and fill your bedroom with candles and luxury bedding. If you follow these tips, then you will be well on your way to attracting your perfect partner.

When you think of Feng Shui, you mainly associate it with the home or the office, rearranging the furniture and surrounding yourself with objects that attract good luck. However it is not only indoors that can be designed using Feng Shui. You can also use it to create the perfect garden environment.

If a garden is part of your property, Feng Shui should be incorporated into it. That will really help to bring you the best results. We all like our gardens to look impressive and beautiful. It allows us to appreciate our environment a lot more and it helps to release positive energy that helps us flourish. Feng Shui gives us the tools needed to create the most positive outside environment and the best part is that you don’t need a huge garden to use feng shui arrangements.

Incorporating Feng Shui into the Garden

One of the main factors that you have to take into account when it comes to Feng Shui is that clutter is always a bad thing. This also applies to the garden. If you have a lot of clutter outside of your doorway you won’t attract good energy. Make sure that the entrance to your home looks welcoming and tidy. Also make sure you clean up once Winter is gone. The cold weather and the snow will cause leaves to stick to your lawn and in your flower beds. Once you have tidied everything away, you can truly start to incorporate Feng Shui into the garden.

If you want to plant trees in your garden, aim to plant them at the sides and around the back of your garden. Don’t plant them too close to your home as, although they are fantastic producers of positive energy, they can overshadow the home and look a little too imposing if placed too close. There should always be plenty of natural light shining into your home, so don’t place anything in the garden that will block out the light.

To draw positive energy into your garden, it’s a good idea to attract birds and butterflies. You can do this by providing a birdbath and plants that attract butterflies. These animals tend to bring positive energy with them, which will help you in your Feng Shui garden goal.
Also apply the Ba Gua to your garden. A lemon or orange tree in the Wealth Area is fabulous to attract prosperity to your life. A fountain or pond is also an amazing thing to have in your garden or front lawn to the left of your front door. Also make sure that you don’t have a tree directly in front of your front door or this will block the entrance of energy to your house.

If you like cacti, never have them inside your home. Instead, try to put them outside the windows, where they will act as protectors of the home.

Statues are also a wonderful addition to your garden, but if you are single, try not to use a statue depicting a single person, try to use pairs of things. Such a statue would do wonders in your Love and Relationships Area. A statue of children playing in your Children and Creativity Area is another option.

Finally, remember that water is the “blood” of your home. Make sure there are no leaks in your sprinklers
or anywhere else, since this will be draining your wealth.
If you live in an apartment and you don’t have a garden, but you have a balcony, make sure you don’t use it as a storage area. Apply all the same principles only at a smaller scale.

The idea is to make your garden, or balcony, as peaceful and relaxing as possible. You can spend months creating the perfect home using Feng Shui techniques. However, if that area isn’t arranged properly, you might be wasting all the efforts that you made inside the home.

Once you have created a nice peaceful garden setting, you will find that it really helps to rejuvenate the mind as well as the body and nothing but good energy will come into your home.

If the freshwater lobsters are eating the fish you need to get shrimp pellets that sink to the bottom to feed them. I do not know if they are good for feng shui but they are cool to have. If they are also called crayfish they will turn blue with the shrimp pellets. Blue crayfish are worth 20 dollars at a pet store near my house.

Hi!

I’m a 16 year old girl that would like to make her room a more relaxing space!

I heard about feng shui & thought it was interesting :)

Plus it would be fun just to have something to do & with all the bad weather I spend more time inside!

So anyone got any tips?

Know much about feng shui?

Know of any good sites?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

Lots of <3 x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x

goto http://fengshui.about.com/ nice tips there

I was wondering, where my bed is placed, the wall is crooked. It’s just naturally built that way. It’s been bothering me, but partly because I don’t have a headboard yet (just a mattress and box spring). Once I get a headboard, it will be more stable. However, the wall is still crooked. Is this bad for feng shui? I can’t help the structure of the room…In feng shui, does a bed against a crooked wall mean a less stable, peaceful night?
I mean that the wall that the bed is against is not a straight line. The wall across from the bed is straight, but I’m not sure I can put the bed there. So when I watch the TV that is across from the bed, I notice that I am crooked. It is strange.

Feng Shui is about energy (Qi). You should be aware of the effect is has on you. If you have a strange feeling about it, try to cover it so you will feel better.

Im on amazon trying to look for a good author for feng shui.
Has anyone read one that is easy to understand and has tried it to see if there’s changes in your life?

What’s a good book / author?

english version isn’t gona work.

you better read chinese and take this book <你真的懂阳宅吗?>

or maybe you want watch this video

I’ve been playing with the idea for a while now……even had a friend send me a book called, "Feng Shui On A Budget" or something like that…..but haven’t gotten around to actually putting it into practice.

If you’ve used it, can you offer some advice or insight?

When I was an elementary art teacher, I ran across some difficulty in having all my students listen.I taught roughly 850 students a week in my art classroom and discipline, focus and even cooperation were all difficult so I searched for ways to use my classroom’s environment as a away to calm the students down and to nourish creativity and learning. feng shui was the answer. I had the typical art room, bright walls with primary colors, alot of art supplies cluttering the room, desks in groups where they face each other instead of me. I did alot of research and took some training. I painted the room myself, decluttered, found out where the good energy was and opened that window everyday. I changed the group seating to a soft curve where all there energy was focused on me. Kind of like Oprah’s stage. I found out there was a conflict star that causes fighting and I treated that with fire and metal. So the environment changed so much that the classroom teachers would often stay after dropping off their class and read or write their lesson plans on a leather couch that I brought in. They would make comments about my classroom being more soothing than their the teacher’s lounge or their own classrooms. So in answer to your question it made a huge difference so much that I was voted teacher of the year in my county. The kids also voted art as their favorite special year after year until I retired.

- make sure your bed isn’t placed directly beside a window.
- don’t keep artificial flowers in your bedroom
- try not to have more than one mirror in your bedroom
- don’t place the mirror facing the bed
- don’t keep too many female figurines/dolls in your bedroom (wards off third parties in your relationship)
- select pastel coloured bedsheets rather than loud colours to promote better sleep
