i want adventure, travel, romance, and excitment in my life. what are some changes i can make in my bedroom to get me what i want using feng shui? thank you so very much!

Check out the articles below, one article is on How to Feng Shui your Bedroom, and the other is How to feng shui for Love.

I’ve been single for a long time and have recently been reading about feng shui. It’s kind of confusing, since I live in a small, one room space, but I wanted to try using it for love purposes. I want a serious relationship.
Bahahahahahahaha! I know! It is a complete scam! haha! :)
Fung shui is a gimmick. There’s nothing factual about it. It’s basically a scam that people use to charge obscene amounts of money to redecorate rooms and houses. And of course to sell books and other products.

Finding love will have a lot more to do with your personality and looks than how you arrange your room.

We enter our home through the garage. Our apartment is upstairs so when you come into our home half of it is in front of you and half {the part over the garage} is behind you. How do I place our home on a feng shui map? We never use our front door because there isn’t an easy way to park in the garage and then go around to our front or back doors.

so the door of your garage becomes th main front door of the house.

there is no such thing as the fengshui map… the bagua method is not a a fengshui method, at least no fengshui master recognize it as such. in my experience, i dont think that it even works - and i know it has been published in many books.

i still like to use classical fengshui methods. the most important thing about fengshui with regards to the front door is where it faces (exact degree facing), and the location of the door in relation to the whole house. why? because the facing direction dictates the energy distribution of the house, and what life are you going to have living in such house. while the location of the door describes what energy you are activating every time you use it.

i am aware that in some countries, you cannot just tilt the main front door. this is another reason why most people dont like to use fengshui. and it is impossible to apply good fengshui to all houses, because of this reason.

so regarding mapping, there is no such thing. the general thing to do is to use a compass and measure the facing degree of you garage door (where you enter the house). and use this to plot out the flying star chart of your house. this chart tells you where you need to live more - where to put the kitchen, bedroom; and where to put the toilet, garage, etc. it is also a good method to use when you can tilt the main door to shift the energy distribution. this is good if the rooms are already built and you can tilt the front door.

I’m a single mother. I need all the help I can get just to have a prosperous life with my son. I heard that feng shui can help.

Feng shuai resides with the tooth fairy, call her up and see if she can give you some tips. Otherwise, make sure you have a clear path through your new home, don’t put furniture, throw rugs, or plants in harm’s way and you and your new son should live quite safely.

These days stress is the number one killer of relationships and productivity. Stress is everywhere. Now day’s even small kids get stressed fast due to peer pressure, pressures from class and the amount of homework that is placed upon them. Many people have started turning to the ancient art of Feng Shui to make their home and office clutter free and pleasant.

These day’s even classrooms are aligned as advised by Fengshui so that the kids can have maximum productivity. Let’s examine the ways in which we can achieve a feng shui classroom:

Fengshui Tip #1- Clear the clutter

Clutter is perhaps one of the most stressful and harmful aspects of a classroom. Make the class room as clutter free as possible. Remove all the charts, posters and hangings that are not required. Do not keep too many books and papers in the class room cupboards. Keep them as tidy as possible.

Fengshui Tip #2- Classroom arrangements

Most classrooms have close seated arrangements. The desk should be arranged in the following manner.

The teacher’s desk should always be facing the door with its back firmly against the wall. This is the power position and imperative to the teacher. For pupils’ desks, you need to avoid square pillows, sharp corners, and desk in rows.

Bring in nature calls. Classrooms should be arranged as close to nature as possible. They should be made to depict the natural beauty and tranquility. Use earth toned colors and plants into your class room to keep it natural. Use real plants, free form shapes, and beautiful natural sceneries to make your class room beautiful. You need to avoid furnishing like mirrors.

Fengshui Tip #3- Classroom enhancements

Avoid using fluorescent light in the class room since it gives a claustrophobic and closed feeling. Plan activities in the natural sunlight or set up excursions to natural places. This will not only make children appreciate nature but also save them from the uncomfortable glare of the tube light. Ask students to get their own floor lamps if they really must use light in the class room.

Provide soothing music in the class. Music has the power to heal the mind, body and soul. Music can also help in increasing concentration. The steady and soothing rhythm of classical music is ideal for setting the class room environment for independent reading or class work. Hence, try including music in your classroom during class room periods.

Provide water in the class room as water symbolizes flow and serenity. Feng Shui suggests that water must be present at a learning place to symbolize the flow of knowledge. You can add a small aquarium, fish bowel, water garden or a table top water fall to your class room. Besides being soothing for the classroom environment, it can also help children in enhancing their creative writing, art and research abilities.

Feng Shui can be used in the classrooms to enhance the child’s creativity and innovation skills so use Fengshui to enhance your class room and learning capacity. The next time your students start to falter, consider turning to the ancient oriental art of geomancy and try to achieve a feng shui classroom.

Your living room is probably the most used room in your home. It is often the room in which the family gather to relax and enjoy each other’s company, perhaps watch tv and to socialise in when guests come to visit. For most people, everything else centers around the public area of their living room. It is therefore important that this room be inviting and welcoming with a bright and cheerful ambiance to enhance the lively feng shui living room yang energy and to create harmony and peace. So, lets get started in making your living room come alive with Feng Shui.

Remove the Clutter

As many people use this room, it can often attract a lot of clutter, perhaps from unfinished projects, magazines and newspapers or maybe even left behind cups, saucers and ashtrays. Make sure that your living room is clear of unnecessary and unused items. You should also be weary of over cluttering with decor and furnishings. Understandably you would want to create your family’s personal touch or identity in this room, but too much can over clutter and block the flow of positive chi. In a good feng shui living room, the placement of furniture should allow for the free flow for movement of people and chi within the room.

Sofa so Good

A good feng shui living room is warm and appealing with plenty of natural light and fresh air. There should be an even number of chairs in the room and all the furniture should be positioned with a full view of the entrances to the room. If the back of your sofa faces a door or window, you can place a table or screen behind it to remedy the feeling of a lack of support. It is best to have the sofa with its back against a wall.

The Round Table

Round or oval coffee tables are better than rectangular or square ones as these can create ‘poison arrows’ with their corners. Using your coffee table as a place to display flowers or fresh fruit in a bowl will bring greater fresh energy and subsequently leave no room for useless clutter. Make sure flowers or fruit are always fresh however, as dried flowers and rotten fruit will cause negative energy to be stagnant in this room.

Wall of Frame

In feng shui, living room space is ideal for displaying your favourite photos in frames, whether they be on a table, on a shelf or on the wall. It is even better to hang or display your pictures in groups or pairs as singular pictures can create a feeling of loneliness or isolation. For this same reason, it is best to display ornaments or books in groupings on shelves or book cases, but make sure to always keep them neat and tidy.

Box up the Box

As mentioned above, people often like to watch tv in their living room, and why not, as this is often the room you come to relax in. However, in feng shui, a tv is not only counterproductive to family interaction and often hypnotically distracting to all in the room when it is on, but it is also a source of electromagnetic radiation, even when they are switched off. If you must have a tv in this room and you want to create a positive feng shui living room, you can always contain it along with any other electromagnetic appliance such as a VCR, DVD player and stereo, in a cupboard or tv cabinet with doors and only reveal them when needed. This also keeps the room much neater with cables contained.

Having a feng shui living room is not only better for that balance of harmony and positive energy in your home and in your life, but it will ensure that you room is always neat and tidy for when visitors come over. Makes perfect sense really! So why not clear out that clutter, get your storage areas sussed, hide those electrical appliances, display all your favorite photos and some fresh flowers and sit back, smile and relax.
