- measure the main front door of house (not bedroom), and plot out the flying star chart of house; use this to know whether your bedroom is in a location with good energy
- superimpose the chart of the house onto your bedroom, push your bed (or the space where you live more) on the side/ corner where there is good energy (flying stars) and good for you based on 8 mansions method, this way, you can energy 2 good things

some simple things, but these wont have any significant effect on your life:

- imagine a straight line going thru the toilet bowls from the front outward and from its back outward intersecting all walls. your bed, bedroom’s door, main front door, should not be in this path. it can be fatal to your health.

fengshui is about a group of methods which are formulated for people to use nature to make life easier. but there is a catch, people cannot create good luck with the use of things, but we need to use these methods to adapt to nature.

first, you need to understand that there is NO book NOR website that offers to teach the both basic and advanced uses of these fengshui methods.

next to start, you need to understand that in fengshui, a house or a building (as in the case of a condominium) is always considered as 1 unit, thus, the most important part is the main front door of this unit - even if you just live in 1 bedroom in that house, or 1 condo unit in the whole building. the importance of this main front door is in its tilt, facing degree - the degree that is perpendicular to the outside (of the house) to where your main door faces. this must be measured accurately to half a degree. then you need to cross reference this degree with other configurations like void lines (which can cause a life of crime/ miserable/ dead end life), peach blossom (bad for home, but good for business; this can lead to many affairs, thus it is good for business - which can mean many clients in a business), etc. then if the degree is not ideal to you, then you might want to renovate your front door.

Tai Sui seems to be strongly paid attention to in relation to feng shui practices and is regarded as terribly unlucky (makes sense that it is opposite Jupiter, the planet that is regarded in all forms of astrology as benefic). Some people in Chinese culture make prayers to appease this deity if their Chinese astrological sign is in conflict (I think square or opposition) with Tai Sui’s position in the sky. So, I was wondering if this might have any relation to our natal charts as well.

So… where is your ‘Tai Sui’ (that is, the degree directly opposite your Jupiter placement)? Is this an area of difficulty for you? Have you noticed any correlation between this point and your life, through aspects or transits? Any musings in general on this concept?

Interesting. I saw this question a couple of days ago, and decided to let it marinate, and see what comes up.

Mine is in Libra, in the 7th house, intercepted.

I don’t have any planets in the 7th house, but I have S.N., Vertex and POF…plus now I guess Tai Sui, lol, so my relationships are very important to my life. POF in Libra, S.N. and Vertex in Virgo.

I actually feel as though I receive a lot of leeway from people who may oppose me, open enemies, ect. Libra is intercepted in the 7th house, Venus is in the 12th house. I don’t encounter much drama, and I can’t say Tai Sui’s position shows me a point of difficulty. The point of Tai Sui is actually conjunct my Part of Fortune.

Maybe, if it has relevance, it can go the other way. Perhaps Tai Sui can be internalized instead of experienced. It works like that with everything else, and if that were the case, I would say I see relevance, however in a positive manner, but with the little information available, I of course couldn’t state anything strongly at all. It’s hard to separate that from the other points in my 7th house.

Finding love will have a lot more to do with your personality and looks than how you arrange your room.
